2^nd corps ordered to retreat to Eisenach

Davout orders 6^th and 14^th corps to rally at Wittgenstein

2^nd and 5^th corps ordered to prepare to advance over the river Weser.

17 April 1813 – North Germany

3^rd Prussian corps compulsory retreat to Wolfenbuttel

Remainder of Prussian army prepare to retreat to Brunswick

They have abandoned their depot at Hildesheim and lost 2 days supplies

The Prussian army are now reduced to two depots to supply all four corps

13^th Polish corps occupy Hildesheim and secure Prussian depot

French army resupply and prepare to attack Lehre

They have detached five brigades to garrison depots

16 April 1813 – Southern Spain

Spanish Army await French advance

Guerrilla rest, recruit and resupply

French Army advance to pin enemy and prepare to attack Moncejon

Build up supplies in all depots
