4 March 1813 – North Spain

Four French corps attack three British corps at Valladolid.

Three French corps pinned the three British corps.  

The fourth French corps joined the right hand corps to launch the main attack.

The British centre and right defeated the French corps opposed to them.  

The left hand British corps held their position and halted the main French attack

With his left and centre broken and in rout Soult abandoned the attack

The two corps on his right could have broken the British left

But they would then have been isolated when the British centre and right advanced

Once more the British lines held the French columns

But they were well supported by lucky dice at the critical part of the wargame
