8^th French and 16^th Italian corps attack Moncejon

The town is held by 2^nd and 4^th Spanish corps

The Spanish put up a determined defence and still hold the town at nightfall

However they have lost 5900 casualties to 2100 French casualties

Giron orders them to retreat  under cover of darkness

Meanwhile three garrisons are attacked by guerrilla

The French hold Aranjuez, but lose Villatobas and Quintanar

At Aranjuez 15 guerrilla lose 400 casualties and retreat

At Villatobas the garrison lose 400 casualties and retreat

At Quintanar the garrison lose 400 casualties and rout

14 guerrilla attack Villatobas          french lose 10% and rout

15 guerrilla attack Aranjuez           guerrilla lose 10% and retreat

16 guerrilla attack Quintanar          french lose 10% and rout
