To distract Blucher he orders 4^th corps to attack Jeggau

13^th corps rallies and resupplies covered by 1^st corps

3^rd corps observe and will retreat if attacked

Blucher is trying to reorganise his supply system

1^st corps comes under attack at Jeggau

2^nd and 3^rd corps hold and resupply at Wolfsburg

4^th corps rally and resupply.

4^th French corps attack 1^st Prussian corps at Jeggau

The outcome is an overwhelming victory for the French

By nightfall 1^st Prussian corps has lost 2500 casualties

All four infantry brigades, plus the cavalry and gunners, are in rout

The French have lost just 400 casualties.
