The
Russian Army is short of supplies, but their lines of supply are short. Wittgenstein has gathered sufficient
supplies at Rudolstadt to provide each corps with two days supplies. He has rallied both 1st and 4th
corps. He has also reorganised each
corps to concentrate his infantry casualties in one brigade.
Davout
has ordered all available supplies to Erfurt, and has managed to bring all four
corps up to four days supplies. He has
also ordered the closure of the depot at Thuringen and movement of all supplies
to Gamstadt. He has sufficient supplies
but must move them closer to his army.
