Soult orders his army to halt, regroup and reorganise

7^th and 8^th corps resupply      

13^th and 16^th corps rally their routed brigades and resupply

Wellington orders his army to advance and make contact with the enemy

All four corps halt when they have done so

He also orders a new depot to be established at Mayorga

Wellington is now well positioned to resume the attack
