Wittgenstein

Davout
has deployed his army along the left bank of the river Saale
Aware
of the Russian concern for their northern flank, he opts to attack in the south
2nd
and 5th corps are ordered to pin the Russian army between Kulmbach
and Bayreuth.
6th
corps will attack across the river and pin 4th Russian corps
14th
corps will cross further south and support 6th corps.
The
Russians up a determined defence until the arrival of the Westphalians. They delayed their retreat and lost heavily
in the last two game moves
The
Russians lost 2200 casualties and three brigades in rout
The
French lost no casualties
