Wellington orders all available guerrilla bands to attack French depots

There are four bands capable of doing so

6^th militia attack Sanabria and are routed with 800 casualties

7^th militia attack Oviedo and are also routed with 800 casualties

8^th and 9^th militia attack Astorga, take the town and rout garrison with 400 casualties

                                    

8^th corps, supported by reserve artillery and cavalry, attack Santiago

They defeat 2^nd British corps, who fall back on the city

French lose 1000 casualties

British lose 2600 casualties.
