3^rd Spanish corps rally, resupply and regroup at Albareal

4^th Spanish corps retreat to Sequilla

Spanish transfer supplies from Toledo to Albareal

 

The French suffer an unexpected defeat at Bargas

It is the first time this happened in a formal battle

And despite them outnumbering the Spanish in infantry

 

French lost 8 infantry and 2 gunners (3400 casualties)
