29 March 1813 – Northern Spain – End of Valladolid Campaign

Wellington won three of the five battles fought.

Soult won the remaining two

Wellington took and held the city of Valladolid and therefore won the campaign

The campaign started on 24 January 2021 and ended on 15 March 2021

During this campaign we introduced six corps to each army.   They were organised in three armies on each side and deployed one to the north, one in the centre and one in the south.   To avoid having to paint any more model soldiers, the same figures were used in the northern and southern armies.   This meant that the same four corps could be used to field six new corps.   The experiment worked well, and provided larger and more interesting wargames.
