1^st Prussian army retreat towards Wismar

2^nd French army occupy Boltenhagen

 

2^nd Prussian and 3^rd French armies face each other at the border

Both are regrouping and resupplying

 

South of the river Elbe 3^rd Prussian army attack Fletchingen

The town is held by 1^st French army, including the Old Guard corps

At nightfall the French still hold the town, but both 1^st and 3^rd corps are in retreat

The Old Guard bear the brunt of the fighting, and suffer the heaviest casualties

A significant victory for the Prussians
