4 October 1813 – Rosenheim Campaign – Day 2

3^rd Austrian corps retreats and abandons depot at Rosenheim

1^st Austrian corps advances and joins with 3^rd corps

4^th Austrian corps hold at Kufstein

                          

9^th and 11^th Bavarian corps cross the river and occupy Rosenheim

12^th Baden corps halts and pins Austrian corps at Kufstein

Oudinot orders 10^th Bavarian to hold the bridge at Wassenburg

2^nd Austrian corps attack Bavarians and drive them back over the river.

At the end of a hard fought battle both corps have heavy casualties

However the Bavarians still hold the bridge and are the victors.
