26 March 1813 – South Germany



Tactical Map

The French Army suffered defeat at the joint battles of Ulm and Goppingen.   Oudinot ordered them to retreat to Stuttgart


Schwartzenberg orders his Army to advance to concentrate at Ulm to regroup and resupply

Strategic Map

The Ulm campaign was the second phase in Southern Germany between Third French and the Austrian armies.   It lasted 9 days and the Austrians won both battles fought.

The Austrians won this phase of the campaign

The campaign started on 20 July and finished on 30 September 2015
