27 March 1813 - North Germany - Magdeburg Campaign



Strategic Map

Due to the breakdown on their supply system the Prussian Army were ordered to retreat to Brandenburg to regroup and resupply

On 27 March they are deployed between Rathenow and Dessau, when they are ordered to move west to take and hold Magdeburg.

The French Army have concentrated between Bismark and Wiedleben when they also receive orders to take and hold Magdeburg
