14 April 1813 - Central Germany

The unexpected victory at Meiningen has caused Davout to reconsider his strategic plan.

14th Westphalian corps has not only taken the city, and its supply depot, but has also established a firm bridgehead on the east bank of the river Weser.

To counter this Wittgenstein has ordered his army to concentrate at Barchfeld.

Davout orders 14th corps to hold Meiningen and resupply.   6th corps are ordered to march south, cross the river at Kaufungen and join 14th corps at Meiningen
