9th
and 11th Bavarian corps attack 3rd Austrian corps just
west of Konigsfeld. The Austrians hold
their own throughout the day, but are forced to retreat at nightfall having
suffered 2000 casualties.
Schwartzenberg
moves to support Konigsfeld with 1st corps, but they arrive too late
to take part in the battle.
