14 April 1813 – North Spain



Wellington attacks Murca with 2nd and 4th corps.   The fighting is concentrated on the town, which is finally captured by the light division.   Soult orders 3rd and 13th corps to retreat.   French lose 1200 casualties, British lose 400 casualties.

The guerrillas have taken advantage of the French advance to attack Mariandela and Trindade.  
The garrison of Mariandela lose 10% casualties, abandon the town and three days supplies and retreat towards Chaves.   The garrison of Trindade defeat the guerrilla, who retreat with 10% casualties.
