19 April 1813 – Southern Spain – End of Toledo Campaign

Although short of supplies Suchet abandons his communications with Madrid and orders all four corps to advance and crush the broken Spanish Army.   

The Spanish break and rout west, abandoning Toledo.

The French occupy the city and in doing so win the campaign.
Strategic Map

The Toledo campaign was the fifth phase in Central Spain between Fifth French and the Spanish armies.   It lasted 7 days and there was one battle, which was won by the French.  

The French won the Toledo campaign phase.

The campaign started on 12 April and ended on 27 May 2016
