20 April 1813 – Central Germany – End of Second Gotha Campaign

Davout managed to cross the river Weser and all three battles were fought east of the river.   Wittgenstein counter attacked and drove the French back to the west bank.

The second Gotha campaign was the third phase in Central Germany between the Second French and the Russian armies.  It lasted 8 days and there were three battles.  The French won one, the Russians the other two.
