15 October 1813 – Rosenheim Campaign – Day 13

In the south 1st and 4th Austrian corps move north to prepare to attack Bad Tolz.
Kufstein is abandoned and the depot and supplies moved to Rosenheim.

Schwartzenberg orders 2nd and 3rd corps to attack Holzkirchen again.
Both corps have resupplied and rallied routed troops.  But they have not had time to regroup or receive battle replacements

The Bavarians are in even worse shape.   They have managed to rally their routed brigades, but have not been able to resupply.   10th corps starts the battle out of supply, and 9th corps will be out of supply by the end of the day.

The Austrian cavalry rout 9th Bavarian corps artillery
This allows the Austrian artillery to advance and deploy in close range
Supported by infantry skirmish fire they rout the garrisons of both town and farm
An easy victory for the Austrians.
