3^rd Spanish corps retreat after losing battle of Torrijos

Town garrison move into hills and become first guerrilla group

 

15^th corps occupy Torrijos

3 infantry brigade establish garrison and depot at Torrijos

 

16^th Italian corps, and 10 infantry brigade, attack Mocejon

The Italians won the battle of Mocejon

But in doing so they lost too many casualties

All six brigades suffered 10% casualties

 

Spanish lost 4000 casualties and two brigades in rout

Italians lost 2000 casualties
