7 March 1813 – North Spain



Two battles fought.   One at Medina and a second at Palencia.

1st British corps, supported by 11 guerrilla, attack 3rd French corps at Medina
14th French corps march to the sound of the guns, putting British at odds of two to one.   French lose 400 casualties, British lose 1200 casualties, Guerrilla lose 200 casualties.   British retreat to Simancas.   Guerrilla rout to woods in A09.

2nd and 4th British attack 6th French corps at Palencia.   4th French corps march to their support.   French lose 2500 casualties.   British lose 400 casualties.   French retreat.
