7 March 1813 – South Germany

2nd Austrian corps were ordered to attack across the river Lech in F08
The river is unfordable, and the west bank held by a full Bavarian corps
The Austrian commander  made three attempts to take the bridge
All three failed and he lost 1200 men in the attempt
Accepting failure, he called off the attack.

The French suffered no casualties

Both armies are suffering casualties due to attrition

Both have failed to ensure that all of their corps receive supplies
When a corps runs out they lose 400 men each day until resupplied
