17 April 1813 – Battle of Konigsfeld

9th and 11th Bavarian corps have orders to hold Konigsfeld

Bavarian – 35000 infantry, 2000 cavalry, 60 guns
Austrian – 30000 infantry, 2000 cavalry, 60 guns

3rd Austrian corps (top right) have orders to attack Konigsfeld

0800-1200
Both Austrian corps have deployed out of artillery range
The Bavarians have also deployed and are waiting for the enemy to advanc
1200-1600
The Austrians have deployed out of range, but advanced their artillery
Artillery have exchanged fire, but no casualties on either side
Schwartzenberg orders both corps to advance and attack
1600-2000
1st Austrian corps advance to attack the hill (right).  Their artillery concentrate on the infantry square supporting the artillery, who break and run.   The Austrian grenadiers charge the nearby artillery and the gunners also rout.

3rd Austrian corps are ordered to storm the town.   Their cavalry engage the enemy hussars, but the resulting melee is a draw.   Their artillery support the attack, but prove ineffective.  However the infantry win the day.  The right hand garrison break and run.

Conclusion
Oudinot has lost 2400 casualties, including half of his cavalry
Three of his brigades are also in rout, and half the town in Austrian hands
At nightfall he orders his army to retreat

The Bavarians have lost 2400 casualties
The Austrians have lost 1600 casualties
