9 July 1813 – Central Germany



14th corps detach one brigade to secure the Russian depot abandoned in Weissensee.   The remainder of the corps move south to pursue 2nd Russian corps
6th French corps move north of the river Saale to join 14th corps.   2nd French corps replace them in Erfurt.

2nd Russian corps retreat south east to avoid 6th and 14th French corps
Their two routed infantry brigades continue to retreat east towards Weimar.
1st and 4th Russian corps march north to join 2nd corps.
