9 July 1813 – Central Germany

14^th corps detach one brigade to secure the Russian depot abandoned in Weissensee.   The remainder of the corps move south to pursue 2^nd Russian corps

6^th French corps move north of the river Saale to join 14^th corps.   2^nd French corps replace them in Erfurt.

2^nd Russian corps retreat south east to avoid 6^th and 14^th French corps

Their two routed infantry brigades continue to retreat east towards Weimar.

1^st and 4^th Russian corps march north to join 2^nd corps.
