11 May 1813 – North Spain



Soult orders his army to retreat to Burgos and abandon his depots at Palencia, Valladolid and Iscar.   His Army has suffered two defeats in two days, and is now out of supply.


Wellington has won a significant victory, but has also lost considerable casualties.   He orders 2nd corps to occupy Valladolid and the Spanish militia to occupy Palencia and Iscar.   The remainder of his army will rest reorganise and resupply.
